Information for Referrers

At Re-Process Psychology,
I value collaborative relationships
with referrers.

I'm happy to connect with you to discuss your patients' needs or general referral processes.

Referrals can be sent via email to admin@reprocesspsychology.com.au.

My team will then contact the client directly and schedule an appointment with them.

I work with individuals aged 18 and over. This clinic accepts Mental Health Care Plans, DVA and CTP. No other third-party options.

What makes a referral valid?

Following Medicare’s guideline, a valid referral should include the following:

  • Signed by hand and dated and contains either the practice address or provider number.

  • States an eligible diagnosis or symptoms (from the ICD -10 codes).

  • Patient’s date of birth and address.

  • The number of sessions the patient is being referred for, which under Better Access is a maximum of six sessions at a time.

  • States that a Mental Health Treatment Plan has been created.

  • Requests the provision of psychological treatment.
